Get answers to common questions about Bare Beauty Body Waxing - Silken Legs.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and reduce stubble. Individual timing varies with hormones, lifestyle, and hair type; schedule follow-up appointments for consistent results.

Discomfort varies but is usually brief and manageable. Our skilled estheticians use gentle wax formulas, precise technique, and calming products to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be discussed for sensitive clients; breathing and relaxation also help during treatment.

Avoid shaving for at least two weeks so hair reaches optimal length (about ¼ inch). Exfoliate gently a day or two prior, avoid sun exposure and heavy moisturizers on the treatment area before your appointment.

Shaving between waxes interrupts the cycle and can blunt results; if you must remove stray hairs, trim with scissors or an electric trimmer. To maintain long-term benefits, stick to the waxing schedule advised by your esthetician.

Temporary redness, mild bumps, or sensitivity are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within 24–48 hours. Follow aftercare to prevent irritation; persistent reactions should be reported so we can recommend soothing treatments or medical advice if needed.

Keep legs clean and exfoliate gently after 48 hours. Avoid hot baths, sun exposure, strenuous exercise, and heavy creams for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing, non-comedogenic moisturizers and follow any specific product recommendations from your esthetician.
