Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Liquid Microneedling.

Liquid microneedling uses dissolvable nano-spicules instead of traditional needles, creating microchannels and stimulating collagen gently. It's less invasive, typically more comfortable, delivers active serums deeper, reduces downtime, and suits clients seeking rejuvenation and hydration without needle-related discomfort.

Most clients report minimal discomfort—tingling or mild prickling—during the session. There is little to no downtime; you may experience slight redness or sensitivity that usually resolves within hours to a day, allowing a prompt return to daily activities.

A recommended course is often 3–6 sessions spaced about four weeks apart, depending on your concerns. Many notice improvement after the first treatment, but optimal collagen remodeling and texture improvement typically require a short series for lasting benefits.

Temporary redness, mild swelling, or increased sensitivity are the most common reactions and generally subside within 24–48 hours. Rare flaking or spot irritation can occur; we perform a pre-assessment to minimize risks and customize care.

Ideal candidates include most skin types concerned with fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring, dehydration, and dullness. It may not suit active severe acne, open wounds, or certain skin conditions—consultation required to confirm candidacy.

Avoid retinoids, strong exfoliants, and waxing for 3–5 days pre-treatment. Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, broad-spectrum SPF, and hydration; avoid heavy makeup, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Follow your therapist's personalized skincare guidance.
