Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brow Studio - Brow Tint.

Tinting generally lasts three to four weeks depending on hair growth, skin type, and aftercare. Avoiding excessive exfoliation and oil-based products around the brow area helps maintain pigment longer. We recommend touch-ups every three to four weeks for consistent color and shape.

We perform a patch test prior to your appointment for clients with sensitive or reactive skin. Our tints are formulated for brow use, but if you have known dye allergies or skin conditions, consult with our technician to select a safe alternative.

Tinting primarily colors the hairs, not the skin. Slight temporary staining of the skin can occur but is gentle and fades within a few days. Our technicians use careful application and removal to minimize skin staining and achieve a crisp brow edge.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and avoid applying heavy creams, oils, or exfoliants that day. If you recently had chemical peels, retinoids, or sunburn, inform us; skin sensitivity can affect tint uptake and safety.

We recommend avoiding eye makeup and heavy products around the brows for 24 hours to allow pigment to settle. Light face makeup is fine, but keep the brow area dry and oil-free to ensure the color develops evenly.

Most clients return every three to four weeks for maintenance, depending on hair growth and desired intensity. If you prefer a lighter fade or are growing brows out, appointments can be spaced further apart. We’ll recommend a plan tailored to your needs.
